Goonengerry: modern home renovation

A recently renovated house mounted on the top of the hills of Goonengerry, Byron Hinterland. This owner-builder’s forever home was upgraded to a sleek, minimalist style for the home’s lush vistas to really be the talking point on this property.

We were asked to create glossy white laminate and two-pack painted cabinetry through out the house including walk-in robes for the master bedroom and tall wardrobes with finger-pulls for guest bedrooms.

The old kitchen’s was reconfigured to create a butler’s pantry along the back which housed a wine fridge, espresso machine, dishwasher and an extra sink. Food is stored in drawers created with a Blum’s Legrabox. The front half of the kitchen was formed with Blum’s Tip-On Blumotion system and white gloss laminate drawers which created effortless touch-to-close cabinetry. Countertops are Silestone’s Kensho and installed by Dunn & Sons.

Polished concrete floors and panoramic timber joinery leading out to the yards completed this home’s look.
